An engagement that came from a lifelong friendship, this tropical fairytale wedding left nothing to be desired for both the glowing couple and their well traveled guests. Drawing inspiration from their stunning natural backdrop, the couple wanted to create luxury with a rustic elegance. This was achieved through the use of cotton card stationery, warm metallic accents, natural wood and an abundance of fresh white flowers. The bride wore a custom haute couture gown from Inbal Dror. Modern and elegantly feminine, the bodice was strapless with a fine lace backing, the cut perfectly figure hugging and the gown finished with a long voluminous train. The groom and groomsman wore dark navy blue suits with crisp white shirts and bowties. To make the moment extra special,  the grooms suit had a customised panel under the collar with the couples wedding date and names embroidered in gold thread. Guests were treated to custom bath gels and sunscreen (a practical gift for their tropical vacation) and customised leather luggage tags placed in each guests room prior arrival. Clusters of foliage trailed along the ceiling of the marquee, cascading with white blooms and exposed pendant bulbs. The white marquee on the Balaniese cliffside looked down on fire pits and lanterns that lit up the beach front as the sun set on the magical reception setting. As the day turned to night, Courtenay and Ashlon had their first dance under the stars, with hanging bulbs draped above their heads, and guests excitedly swirling sparklers. The magical day came to a close with a stunning firework display organised by Courtenay’s mother, Monica.
